The College of Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Basra concluded the Martyrs’ Futsal Championship for students of the first stage for a week, with matches according to the individual drop system.
The tournament organized by the Department of Applied Sciences under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Abdul Ali Jaafar divided into two groups, in which the eight people participated in the first round, to share as many students as possible in the stage.
Division (E) won the championship title after winning a penalty shootout after a positive draw (2-2) against its counterpart, Division C.
The Dean of the College of Prof. Dr. Sabah Mahdi Karim stated, “The permanent college in the General Secretariat for Student Activities and Trips aims to invest and motivate students, translate the sports spirit within them, and return the championship to the championship by calling it the name of the martyrs in remembrance and pride in them, and the precious and values ​​in ourselves.”
