The Deanship of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Basra, represented by its Dean, Professor Haider Awfi Ahmed, extends its warmest congratulations to Naft Al-Basra Club on the occasion of its team's coronation as champion of the 2024-2025 Professional Futsal League, following its well-deserved 3-2 victory over Al-Shorta in the final match. Professor Haider Awfi Ahmed emphasized that this achievement is the fruit of the great efforts made by the players, coaching staff, and management, and reflects the level of development witnessed by futsal in Iraq in general and Basra in particular. He praised the outstanding performance and high sportsmanship demonstrated by the team throughout the season. Professor Dr. Haider Awfi Ahmed added, "The sporting successes we are witnessing today motivate us at the college to continue supporting academic and practical paths that serve the sports movement and open horizons for joint cooperation with sports institutions toward further development and excellence."
