The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced direct admission controls in the departments and colleges of physical education and sports sciences for the 2020-2021 school year

The official spokesman for the ministry, Dr. Haider Al-Aboudi, said that graduates of the scientific (biological, applied) and literary branches have the right to apply for admission with 85% of the admission plan, provided that the male rate is not less than 60% and the female rate is not less than 57%, indicating that graduates of professional studies are entitled to (computer, information technology, industrial, commercial, agricultural, and applied arts) to apply for admission, provided that their rates are not less than (60%) and 5% of the admission plan.

He added that the champion students will be accepted from the Olympic Committee's candidates from graduates of the scientific (biological, applied), literary and professional branches (computer, information technology, industrial, commercial, agricultural and applied arts), with the exception of the average requirement and at a rate of 10% of the admission plan and at a rate of 5% for graduates of the scientific branch (biology). (Applied), literary, and 5% for graduates of professional studies, indicating the possibility of rotating the percentages in case the applicants are insufficient by calculating the competitive rate according to the mechanism of 50% of the student’s average in preparatory studies and 50% of the competitive test score.

The official spokesman explained that the hero students from the Olympic Committee candidates are each of the players participating in one of the activities of the Olympic cycle, the players who won first to sixth place in one of the international tournaments approved by the International Federation of the game, and the players who won first to sixth place in one of the approved Asian championships.

With the International Federation of the game, players who won first or third place in one of the Arab championships approved by the Arab Federation for the game, and players who won first, second or third place in a championship at the level of Iraq or the Republic championship that is held under the supervision of the relevant central union for individual games for the two seasons The last two, as well as the players whose teams won first, second or third place in the general league championship or the republic championship that is held under the supervision of the concerned central federation for team games for the last two seasons, pointing out that the Iraqi National Olympic Committee should provide the college and the Department of Studies, Planning and Follow-up in the Ministry of Education Higher education with official books with firsts that prove that students are suitable They have one of the conditions.

And he indicated that the admission controls stipulated the inclusion of the players who won the first ranks in school courses at the level of Iraq, provided that they be supported by a letter from the directorates of education in Baghdad and the provinces and approved by the Ministry of Education.
