
In the presence of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Haider Awfi Ahmed, a master's thesis was discussed at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Basra. The thesis, titled "The Impact of Visual Ability Exercises on Developing Key Motor Skills and Effective Technical Performance in Boxing," was presented by researcher Mahdi Zuhair Khalaf, under the supervision of Professor Muntadhar Majeed Ali and Professor Abdul Kadhim Jalil Hassan. The importance of the thesis was demonstrated by "the process of fact-finding and identifying the impact of visual ability exercises on the nature of motor performance and the effectiveness of performance from a technical perspective. This benefits coaches and the effectiveness of developing training and educational programs that will enhance the performance of young boxers, allowing for better performance in competitions during youth boxing championships."
The thesis aims to: 1. Prepare educational modules using visual ability exercises to develop key motor skills and effective technical performance in boxing. 2- Identifying the impact of visual abilities exercises on developing the most important motor abilities and the effectiveness of technical performance in boxing through: identifying the differences in the amount of improvement between the pre- and post-measurements of the experimental and control research groups, and identifying the differences between the experimental and control research groups in the post-measurement of the level of development of the most important motor abilities and the effectiveness of technical performance in boxing. 3. Focus on visual abilities exercises and link them to mental processes, which are an important foundation for handling the match.
4. Incorporating modern exercises, methods, and techniques that are compatible with the nature of technical performance in boxing.
