As part of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Basra's commitment to monitoring progress and developing administrative and academic performance, the Dean, Professor Dr. Haider Awfi Ahmed, held a meeting with the college's SIS system committee to review the progress of the program's implementation.
During the meeting, the committee reviewed the completed program requirements, discussed the technical and procedural challenges facing the teams, and examined the progress rates and timelines for completing the requirements according to established procedures.
The Dean emphasized the importance of adhering to the schedules and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data entry, given the pivotal role of the SIS system in organizing academic and administrative work, achieving digital transformation, and streamlining procedures for both students and faculty.
He also stressed the need to enhance coordination among committee members and relevant units, and to provide continuous technical support to ensure the program's successful completion, in accordance with the university's directives and quality and accreditation requirements.
At the conclusion of the meeting, emphasis was placed on continuing periodic follow-up and establishing clear mechanisms to address observations, in order to contribute to fulfilling the system's requirements within the specified timeframes and with high efficiency. A letter of thanks and appreciation was presented to the Chairman of the Committee and his team for their valuable efforts in accomplishing what was required of them.
