The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Basra Participates in Global Entrepreneurship Week

As part of its ongoing efforts to support innovation and foster a culture of creativity among students, the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Basra participated in the Global Entrepreneurship Week events, held at the College of Engineering. The event was sponsored by the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim, and overseen by the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Khazal Mahbas, under the slogan:

“Ideas spring from the land of Mesopotamia.”

This participation underscored the College's commitment to keeping pace with modern trends that link academic education with entrepreneurship, contributing to the development of students' entrepreneurial skills, particularly those related to sports, health, administration, and sports investment.

The participation included a range of activities and events aimed at highlighting the creative ideas and entrepreneurial projects of faculty members, Professor Dr. Qusay Mohammed Ali Rakhees and Professor Dr. Naheda Hamed, and encouraging students to think innovatively and transform ideas into practical, applicable initiatives.
