Basra University conducts a guiding campaign on the path of the marchers towards Al-Hussain (peace be upon him)

Under the guidance of the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, the respected Center for Educational Guidance and Psychological Care of the University of Basra set up a guiding and educational campaign for the owners of processions and Husseini bodies on the path of those walking towards Karbala to perform the blessed Arbaeen pilgrimage.
 
Where the campaign was launched from Basra in conjunction with the days of the march and was carried out by the guidance units officials from most of the university’s faculties to educate and raise awareness of the personalities based on the care of the walkers in their humanitarian and educational role and urging the walkers to adhere to the principles of the Prophet’s family, peace be upon them.
  
The official of the Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Professor Dr. Riyad Nouri, also participated in the campaign, and the head of the Quality Assurance Unit, teacher Dr. Muhannad Khairallah and assistant teacher Hudhayfa Najm Khazal, joined him to cover a larger area and reach more personalities.
 
For his part, Nuri said, "We are pleased to assign the president of the university to participate in our educational and moral role on this great occasion. We have worked to educate as many as possible of the owners of the processions and Husseini bodies, and we will continue until we reach the holy Karbala and the fortieth day of Hussein, peace be upon him."

In turn, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Sabah Mahdi Karim said, "What the organizers of this blessed campaign offer today is nothing but a humanitarian, social and moral practice."
And educational, and this is what we have entrusted to our university, and we have worked to provide all facilities to our colleagues participating in this campaign, and we have asked for students to volunteer, and they may join in the coming days.”
