Physical Education conducts its competitive exams

The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Basra has conducted competitive tests for students applying for the current academic year 2022/2021, which is the detailed for accepting students in the college.
The tests included an initial medical examination, measurement of height and weight, and a set of fitness exercises, namely arena and field, wide jumping, abdominal exercises, pulling on the bar and hanging, and motor skills exercises, which are football, handball, volleyball, basketball and gymnastics, in addition to specialty games.
For his part, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Sabah Mahdi Karim said, "The aim of the tests is to measure the students' athletic ability and achieve the required standards. Therefore, we worked, in coordination with the teaching staff, to develop a methodological plan and to form committees according to the disciplines required, given the importance of the tests at the academic and athletic level."
The college also invites students who did not take the test today to attend next Tuesday, corresponding to 10/26 at 7:30, to take the test in sports uniforms exclusively.
