Physical Education begins with postgraduate studies

In implementation of the academic scientific programs in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and their approved calendar timings, the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Basra has started a full-time postgraduate study for master’s and doctoral students accepted for the academic year 2021-2022 today, Sunday, which is the beginning of the first semester.
A detailed meeting was also held between the Deanship of the College and the students after the scheduled lectures, which included the most important instructions, decisions and directives and their clarification by the Deanship, listening to the students' opinions, and the two parties' efforts to overcome difficulties in preparation for the new year.
The Ministry stresses the need to follow health directives, as this year is a full attendance, as stated in a statement on social media, “confirming full attendance in postgraduate studies according to the decision of the Supreme Committee for Health and National Safety, the Ministry of Education stresses on the vaccination card or examination (PCR). The weekly is a condition to allow the attendance of students, employees and teaching staff in universities, colleges, and government and private institutes.
For his part, the Dean of the College, Dr. Sabah Mahdi Karim said, "The graduate students are among the elite, the academic front and the scientific fruit, so we have endeavored with all our efforts to provide what is required in this regard and to overcome all difficulties. Accordingly, their halls were rehabilitated in advance and equipped with the required means, a schedule of lectures was set, and the faculty was fully prepared to invest every minute to serve the students
