The Graduate Studies Committee at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences held its regular meeting, chaired by Professor Haider Awfi Ahmed, Dean of the College, to discuss and follow up on a

number of issues related to graduate student affairs and the organization of their academic and administrative procedures.
The committee's chairman, Professor Adel Majeed, and members Professor Muhammad Ali Faleh, Professor Luqman Imran, Professor Sabah Abdullah, and Professor Raja Abdul Samad, along with the committee's rapporteur, Assistant Professor Ali Muhammad Hadi, reviewed the committee's most important tasks. The following were emphasized:
1. Monitoring graduate student affairs and making the necessary unanimous decisions to ensure the smooth flow of academic work.
2. Conducting discussion groups (seminars) for graduate students, contributing to raising the academic and research level.
3. Distributing research projects to students in accordance with applicable instructions and regulations.
4. Selecting scientific and linguistic reviewers for theses and dissertations, in coordination with the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, to ensure prompt and accurate completion within three working days.
5. Considering the proposals of the heads of academic departments regarding the formation of discussion committees for undergraduate and graduate students.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean emphasized the importance of adhering to sound academic standards, unifying efforts to support students, and providing a scientific environment that contributes to the advancement of scientific research within the college.
