In the presence of the Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Professor Dr. Haider Awfi Ahmed, a doctoral dissertation by student Ashraf Khalil Majeed, entitled:

“The Effect of a Rehabilitation Program for Partial Tears of the Posterior Biceps Femur on Pain Levels, Muscle Electrical Function, and Some Physical and Skill Variables in Injured Football Players,” was discussed at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Basra. The dissertation was supervised by Professor Dr. Qusay Mohammed Ali, and the discussion committee included a select group of specialized professors.

The discussion featured a rigorous scientific dialogue between the researcher and the committee members, enriching the cognitive and methodological aspects of the research, before the committee decided to approve the dissertation with a grade of “Very Good.” At the end of the session, the Dean of the College congratulated the student researcher on this scientific achievement, wishing her continued success in her academic career and in serving the scientific movement in Iraq.
