The President of the University of Basra Meets with the Head of the Ministerial Delegation for Program Accreditation Evaluation

The President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim, received the ministerial delegation of the national evaluation team tasked with conducting a field visit to assess the eligibility of the Bachelor's program at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences/University of Basra for program accreditation. The delegation was headed by Professor Dr. Haitham Mohammed Kadhim, Chairman of the National Council for Accreditation of Colleges of Physical Education and Sports Sciences in Iraq.

The meeting was also attended by the University's Administrative Assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Ayman Saleh Naama, while the delegation was accompanied by the Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Professor Dr. Haider Awfi Ahmed, and members of the College Council.

The President of the University extended a formal welcome to the visiting delegation, emphasizing the University's full support for program accreditation efforts and its commitment to raising academic standards and achieving comprehensive quality criteria, thereby enhancing the University's standing and the quality of its scientific output.

The meeting also discussed mechanisms for cooperation and coordination between the university and the National Accreditation Council, and reviewed the procedures followed in evaluating the academic program, in order to contribute to achieving accreditation requirements and establishing a culture of quality and institutional excellence.
