The Women's Empowerment and Educational Guidance Units, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Division at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Basra, held an awareness lecture entitled "The Internet: Between Benefit and Risk." The lecture was attended by a select group of professors, postgraduate students, and undergraduate students, and was led by Professor Dr. Naheda Hamed and Lecturer Ali Mohsen.

This initiative is part of their ongoing efforts to raise community awareness and promote the safe and responsible use of digital technologies.

In this context, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Haider Awfi Ahmed, commended this valuable initiative, emphasizing the importance of such awareness activities in guiding students toward the optimal use of the internet and enhancing their understanding of its risks. This, he noted, contributes to building a sound academic and behavioral awareness that keeps pace with the demands of the modern age.
