A Stand of Loyalty and a Memorial Ceremony for Postgraduate Students in Commemoration of the Martyrs.

On Sunday morning, March 15, 2026, postgraduate students at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Basra, held a stand of loyalty to commemorate the martyrdom of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali al-Husseini al-Khamenei (may God sanctify his soul) and the martyred leaders.

The event was attended by the Dean of the College, members of the council, and a number of esteemed professors.

The stand began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah for the soul of the martyred leader, Sayyid Ali Khamenei (may God sanctify his soul), and the martyrs of Islam.

Following this, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Haider Awfi Ahmed, expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to the postgraduate students for this blessed initiative of presenting copies of the Holy Quran to their esteemed professors.
