In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
{And do not think that those who were killed in the cause of God are dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision.}
With hearts filled with sorrow and souls shrouded in grief, we announce our apologies for not receiving congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, due to the painful circumstances our beloved country is experiencing, and out of reverence and respect for the souls of the martyrs.
We remember with humility and appreciation the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader, Sayyid Ali al-Husseini al-Khamenei (may God be pleased with him), and the heroic martyrs who ascended with him, as well as the martyrs of the sacred Popular Mobilization Forces, who inscribed with their pure blood the highest meanings of sacrifice and devotion.
The joy of Eid is incomplete, and its days do not shine, except by remembering those who bestowed upon us security and safety, and who gave their lives so that the nation might live by Islam and remain proud with the pure blood of its sons. We also extend our deepest condolences to the families of the martyrs, whose tears still bear witness to the magnitude of their loss and the greatness of their sacrifice.
We ask God Almighty to shower our martyrs with His boundless mercy, to grant them eternal peace in Paradise, to inspire their families with patience and solace, and to protect Iraq and its people from all harm.
