Visit of the Director of the Popular Mobilization Forces in Basra Governorate to the Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Basra

The Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Haider Awfi Ahmed, received a high-level delegation from the Popular Mobilization Forces Directorate, headed by the Director of the Directorate, Major General Fadhil Saleh Al-Basiri, and a number of officials and members of the Directorate, with the aim of strengthening cooperation between the two institutions.

During the visit, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Haider Awfi Ahmed, emphasized the great national role played by the Popular Mobilization Forces in supporting the security and stability of the country, praising the efforts exerted and the immense sacrifices made by its members.

For his part, the Director of the Popular Mobilization Forces and the visiting delegation commended the significant and active role played by the Deanship of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Basra in providing educational support and services to the children of martyrs. They also praised the college's faculty for their well-known support of members of the Popular Mobilization Forces, presenting a certificate of appreciation to the Dean, Professor Dr. Haider Awfi Ahmed, for his substantial support and cooperation with their office.

At the conclusion of the visit, Dean Professor Dr. Haider Awfi Ahmed presented a plaque of appreciation to the Director of the Popular Mobilization Forces, Major General Fadhil Al-Basiri, in recognition of his sincere efforts and continuous support for the Popular Mobilization Forces, expressing the college's pride and gratitude for these national endeavors.
