With pride and honor, the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Basra participated this evening, Thursday, October 23, 2025, in the central graduation ceremony of the University of Basra for the academic year (2024-2025). The ceremony was held at the Palm Trunk Stadium amidst an atmosphere filled with joy and pride in the achievements of our dear students.
The ceremony was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Haider Awfi Ahmed, scientific and administrative assistants, members of the College Council, and a select group of faculty members and graduating students.
During the ceremony, the top-achieving students in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences were honored in recognition of their excellence and distinguished academic efforts, which embodied the spirit of diligence and hard work, setting an honorable example for their colleagues.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the college deanship extended its warmest congratulations to the graduates, wishing them continued success in their professional and academic lives. She emphasized that their joy is a source of pride for the college, and their dreams are a source of pride for the nation's future.
