The University of Basra Presidency, headed by Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim, celebrated the distinguished lecturer and the distinguished employee as part of an initiative launched by the university to coincide with the anniversary celebrations.
The honorees included Professor Dr. Abdul Sattar Jabbar Damd, who was awarded the title of Distinguished Lecturer at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, in addition to Mr. Ali Badr, Director of the Services Division at the college, who was awarded the title of Distinguished Employee in recognition of his dedicated efforts and perseverance in performing his duties.
In a gesture of appreciation, the University President, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim, presented the Creativity Necklace to the Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Professor Dr. Haider Awfi Ahmed, expressing the university's pride in his leadership and continued dedication.
For his part, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Haider Awfi Ahmed, delivered a speech in which he expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the distinguished lecturers and employees, emphasizing that the spirit of creativity and perseverance is the foundation for achieving accomplishments that raise the university's name high. He also emphasized the importance of these initiatives in motivating members to continue to give and excel in various academic and administrative fields.
