Professor Dr. Lamia Hassan Al-Diwan, a teacher at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Basra, participated in the fifth annual international scientific conference for sports sciences, which was held at Al-Mustansiriya University in Baghdad.
The conference dealt with new visions for curricula and teaching methods according to sustainable development and aimed to study the needs of the labor market. The Bureau also chaired one of the scientific committees formed to discuss the conference’s research.
Al-Diwan holds the position of editor-in-chief of the Journal of Physical Education Studies and Research issued by the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, and has a long academic career, including participation and attendance in scientific conferences.
