The Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Haider Awfi Ahmed, visited the internal departments in the Karma Ali Colleges Complex and was informed of the housing situation for students, in addition to providing dinner to the college students.
The Dean was accompanied by the Head of the Theoretical Sciences Branch, Professor Dr. Mushtaq Hameed, the Head of the Applied Sciences Branch, Professor Dr. Firas Hassan, the Director of the Student Affairs and Registration Division, Assistant Professor Dr. Mustafa Abdel Reda, Professor Dr. Mustafa Abdel Rahman, and the Director of the Human Resources Division, Mr. Younis Kateh Fandi.
The dean met with the students and expressed his encouragement and support for their scientific and social journey, and endured distance from their families and loved ones in order to complete their academic journey. He listened to their requests and opinions and promised to overcome all the difficulties they face.
The Dean emphasized the commitment to the educational and moral aspects for all students and spreading the spirit of familiarity, cooperation, love and commitment among all. “We praise the efforts of our children who reside in the internal departments, stressing that this period is an experience for self-reliance and determination to strengthen the will and success in order to achieve their academic goals, and we will be supportive and supportive of them.” For all the students of the other departments on this site and elsewhere, the college doors and our homes will remain open to them at all times. We also invite them to hold sports activities in their free time inside the college halls and playgrounds, and we will work to have a monthly visit to follow up on their conditions within the internal departments.
