A physical education teacher obtains the title of first-class coach in karate


The teaching assistant at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Basra, Assistant Lecturer Abdullah Tahseen, obtained the title of first-class coach after participating in the A-class coaches classification course held in Holy Karbala.
The Asian tournament was held by the Iraqi National Karate Federation in the presence of Iranian international expert Ahmed Safi and with large participation from the governorates of southern Iraq for three days.
In a related context, it is mentioned that the college includes the most prominent professors and trainers at the level of Iraq in various sports fields, in the individual and team aspects, with advanced classifications and international accreditation certificates, and this is what makes it an effective and supportive institution in the scientific and sports community.
For his part, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Haider Awfi Ahmed, indicated, “Our college seeks to achieve integration in sports scientific specializations and supports its professors to participate in local and international courses to advance the sports aspect at the country level.”
