The Deanship of the College launches an agricultural week with more than 250 seedlings


The Deanship of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Basra launched an agricultural week on the college campus in cooperation with the Educational Guidance Unit, professors, employees, and students.
The campaign was implemented over the course of a week by a group of professors, employees, and students, with a number of agricultural seedlings exceeding two hundred and fifty seedlings of different types, distributed throughout the college campus.
She was also accompanied by a visit to the committee charged with following up on agriculture and afforestation by the university presidency, where she was briefed on the green spaces, the quality of trees and seedlings, and what the deanship is offering regarding these matters.
For his part, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Haider Awfi Ahmed, noted, “We support the culture of extracurricular activities and student initiatives, especially agricultural campaigns, as they develop the spirit of participation and belonging to the place, and in turn we value the efforts made by our teaching colleagues and our students.”
