The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Basra hosted the international training course (Level 1) with the participation of more than five trainers from various governorates of Iraq.
The course was held under the auspices of the Iraqi Volleyball Federation and under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Haider Awfi Ahmed, and in cooperation with the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences and the Basra Volleyball Sub-Federation.
The course also lasts for five days and is lectured by lecturers from Iraq and abroad. It includes both theoretical and practical aspects in the college’s halls and playgrounds.
For his part, the Dean, Professor Dr. Haider Awfi Ahmed, pointed out, “The necessity of coaches possessing tactical thought in training and keeping pace with the development taking place in the world of volleyball training by participating in courses and workshops in order to develop their capabilities and capabilities.”
