The Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences Meets the Invitation of Al Ain University

The Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Sabah Mahdi Karim, and a group of college teachers, answered the invitation submitted by Al Ain Private University in Dhi Qar Governorate to attend the ceremony honoring the winners of the Academic Scientific Researcher Award in its third edition in a row for the year 2023.

The ceremony was attended by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, the representative of the local government, seven presidents of Iraqi universities, a number of members of university councils from various Iraqi educational institutions, a number of researchers, and a number of government and military figures in the conference hall of the main university building.

In his speech, Al-Aboudi explained, "The responsibilities of all institutions of higher education will double in the coming years, pointing out that the pattern of university education is no longer confined to traditional paths and systems, which requires enabling universities to keep pace with the changes that require a deliberate shift in the level of interaction and methods of teaching and learning." .

For his part, the Dean said, "We congratulate Al Ain University for the success of its ceremony, which was distinguished by his attendance and the mechanism for selecting the winners. This initiative is credited to the presidency of the university, which appreciates the scientific role and efforts made by researchers to develop the scientific field, which plays the main role in the country's progress and prosperity."

He also added, "We also invited researchers and academics in the field of physical education and sports sciences to publish their research through the Journal of Physical Education Studies and Research in our college, which has achieved remarkable successes at the global level and is managed by specialized scientific personalities. And the academy."
