Physical Education and Sports Science hosts a workshop for the directors of registration and student affairs in the faculties of the University of Basra

The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Basra hosted a workshop on the registration system for the academic year 2022/2023 for the directors of the registration and student affairs divisions in the colleges of the university on the conference hall in the college.

The workshop was chaired by the Director of the Registration and Student Affairs Department at the Presidency of the University, Prof. Dr. Shukri Shaker Falih, who was directed by the President of the University to explain the most important instructions and decisions related to the registration system for the upcoming academic year.

The university relied on the electronic registration system, which begins after the admission stage, where an electronic link has been allocated for the accepted student to fill in the required data, and then the audit and appointment are set by the registration committee at the college to review the student and certify his registration.

The registration, auditing and certification mechanism was also explained by the Information Systems Unit Officer at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Dr. Haider Fadel Jassim. It is worth mentioning that committees were formed in all faculties concerned with this matter to ensure the flow of work and facilitate the task for students according to an approved and sober system.

In turn, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Sabah Mahdi Karim, valued the efforts made by the registration committees to draw up an action plan that ensures simplicity and smoothness in the registration process for the new school year. He also honored the workshop lecturer with a letter of thanks and appreciation in recognition of his important role in this process.
